A Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) is a non-bank lender providing capital for small business development. A CDFI facilitates the flow of capital into low- to moderate-income communities and to small- to mid-sized businesses unable to take full advantage of the services offered by traditional financial institutions. CDFIs make loans and investments that are generally “hard to fund” by traditional industry standards.

Our CDFI also focuses on providing Success Coaching and support for infrastructure development to help meet the needs of aspiring and expanding entrepreneurs.

Native CDFIs are new to the CDFI movement. There are relatively few of us. NCDFIs focus efforts on assisting Native entrepreneurs.
